General Description

With this template you can add new developped system components to the ACDC/ISN database. To complete a description the five 'tabs' must be filled in: index, function, interface, knowledge and application. In this first step, the index, the basic description of the component can be given.

Why this template? Why should I fill in my component?

• To help order and structure the collection of system components for sensor networks (within TNO).
• To help support system designers in their reasoning about deployment of system components. (In the future, this process could be partly automated. Design-time to run-time.)
• To show component developers (you) the added value of their components in future sensor systems.

Description of Functionality The Map Image API from Yahoo! Maps provides a reference to a map graphic generated according to the parameters you specify in your request. You can specify lat/long or address in your request. This API returns a reference to a static map image in PNG format.
